TLG Grows Strategic Services Team to Meet Client Needs

The Lacek Group (TLG) — a Minneapolis-based, customer-engagement agency — is expanding the agency’s Strategic Services team with three new senior-level hires:

•     Michelle Wildenauer returns to TLG as a Senior Vice President, Strategic Services;
•     Mark Powers has been hired as Vice President, Loyalty and Engagement; and
•     Marcin Michalek has been named Senior Manager, Strategic Services.

Wildenauer will lead the Program Development Strategy team. For the past several years at Thomson Reuters, she formed the strategic marketing function for its small-law-firm business, and led a marketing insights team of data and digital analysts. While at TLG from 1993 to 2012, Wildenauer developed and managed many of the agency’s loyalty programs, including the award-winning Starwood Preferred Guest, Ford Owner Advantage Rewards, and US Bank FlexPerks programs.

Powers will lead strategy for the Ford Motor Company business. Previously, he held a variety of data-driven sales, marketing, and leadership roles. He brings a strong, proven track record of success, developing efficient, custom global solutions for clients; and coordinating strategy and project implementation with metrics-based analytics and optimization. Additionally, Powers has held a variety of marketing leadership roles with Adobe (Automotive Group), 118id, and General Motors, where he was Manager of Global Sales and Marketing.

Michalek will serve as the senior strategy leader on the Ford Motor Company account; he brings deep expertise in customer-engagement strategy and loyalty programs to the new position. Prior to joining TLG, Michalek was Senior Database Marketing Manager at Bellacor.com and Customer Engagement Manager at Caribou Coffee. Michalek also worked for General Mills and Delta Airlines in marketing consulting and analyst roles, and for General Motors in mechanical engineering and technician supervisory positions.
