The Lacek Group Addresses DEI Issues and Commits to Delivering Change
FIVE COMMITMENTS TOWARD CHANGE
Over the past several months, teams of Lacek employees have formed action-oriented, diversity-equity-and-inclusion (DEI) committees focusing on five key areas to begin the work of dismantling white supremacy, amplifying the voices of Black people and other marginalized groups, and creating change within our community. These commitments include:
Provide opportunities for broader and deeper education on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) topics; and empower all employees to have DEI conversations internally and externally.
Increase awareness of organizations supporting the BIPOC community and encourage support of those organizations and initiatives with Lacek resources (volunteers and charitable donations).
Provide support to BIPOC communities through time contributions of Lacek employees and demonstratable direct financial support.
Increase diversity in candidate pools and enhance our recruitment, hiring and onboarding practices in order to build a more diverse talent pipeline and hire a more diverse workforce.

Create a culture that makes current and new employees feel seen and valued.
