The Lacek Group was named “Direct Marketer of the Year” by the Midwest Direct Marketing Association (MDMA) at the organization’s annual Direct Marketing Conference and industry awards ceremony on April 24, 2012.
Chosen by the MDMA board from member nominations, the annual award pays tribute to an organization in the Upper Midwest that elevates the stature of the direct marketing industry through its innovation, leadership, technical application and exemplary business growth.

In addition to this special honor, the agency and its DirectDesign division won several individual ARC Awards for client programs.
DirectDesign, a division of The Lacek Group, received two Gold ARC awards in the categories of Loyalty/Retention and Integrated/Multi-Media Campaign for its client work in the Financial Products and Services industry. The recognition qualifies the programs to be entered into the International ECHO Awards from the Direct Marketing Association.
The Lacek Group also received a Silver ARC Award in the Loyalty/Retention category for its Insurance-related work, and a Bronze ARC Award in the Loyalty/Retention category for its client work in the Automotive industry.
The annual ARC (Art-Response-Copy) Awards Program honors creative direct-response solutions to specific marketing challenges that generate outstanding results.
