Director, Application Development/Info. Mgmt

This position will oversee the delivery/support of technology solutions and manage the resources for the Application Development and Information Management teams. This includes professional development of technical resources, utilization, profitability and staffing decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Team oversight and management – provide team work direction and guidance, help in resolving project issues
• Team assignment and hiring – work with account supervisors, interactive project managers and data analysts to provide appropriate resources
• Help develop and maintain intellectual property, best practices, templates and reusable assets.
• Provide guidance for the technical direction and solution platform of the company
• Collaborate with other practice leads to ensure technical direction is in alignment with the business direction of the company
• Participate as needed in client meetings and negotiations
Qualifications:
• 3+ years management experience to include leading cross-functional development in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated success with managing multiple resources, projects and deadlines against competing priorities
• Experience with enterprise and systems architecture, including SOA; software development using object oriented languages; and relational database concepts, technology, implementation and support
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
This position reports to the VP/Interactive and Information Systems.
